^^ Nice vid.
Why a wheelie bar on a FWD? Does it help to keep the car straight?
What happens when a car squats off the line?

Weight is transfered from the front to the rear. Reason why a RWD is better than FWD.

The bars help stop the weight transfer, keeps it over the driveline where it's needed.

I am no expert because I don't drag race but I imagine this is the same as a rev limiter (only premature, if you will). Anyway, I believe the way to minimize engine wear/damage is to make sure that timing is retarded well before fuel cutoff. Maybe call AEM and find out what they believe are optimal settings for this platform? They are usually quite helpful.
Nah, its not like a normal rev limiter... this is anti-lag. although the revs are limited to a certain point (where ever the driver choses), in an ideal world this would be the point of threshold traction.
When the revs reach this limit the fuel continues to be injected but the ignition timing is retarded back, usually by a good 25 degree's but obviously this figure can vary. this means that the charge is still burning when the exhaust valves are opening, in turn spooling up the turbo. absoloutely awesome, but notoriously hard on turbo's and exhaust valves.

Correct, though not likely there have been instances of s2k's dropping exhaust valves due to a hard 2step. Just be aware...
