wideband afr -- AEM or Innovate?
my friend keeps telling me i should get the Innovate wideband AF meter because he says it's much better, but i want to just get the AEM one and mount it on my A pillar. i'm going to be running a 7psi pulley on my CTSC with custom FMIC setup (by SoCalIsMyLife). would i be ok just running the AEM one?
thanks

hahaha ok so i'm gonna go for the AEM AFR meter. but i would run the car for maybe 2wks to a month without it. you guys think i'd be ok? i'm going to get it tuned a day or so after the install though. i plan to get it tuned at ISP (calling right now to find out availability).

ISP is the perfect place...lol!!! I dont know if I would run it with out getting it tuned... msot ppl say they are going to do that and they blow the car up...you say you will not boost it or run it hard but it will not last....I would find the cash to get it tuned 1st ...just to kinda save your self in the long run

I have both the AEM UEGO gauge and their Serial gauge, so I can compare the 2. They are on completely separate channels (I have 2 wideband sensors).
The Serial gauge is reliable and gives consistent readings.
The UEGO gauge is very unreliable, stops working for no reason, and gives inconsistent readings. It is basically useless.
After speaking with my tuner, who has installed dozens of these UEGO gauges, it seems that there is a serious quality control issue with them. Basically, their failure rate is huge. Go to the forums on AEMPower and you'll quickly see that the problem is endemic.
I feel sorry for people with just one (gauge-type) AEM UEGO. They probably have no idea how inaccurate those readings are. The inaccuracy was confirmed using a MOTEC AFR (the Serial gauge did well however).
