Default AEM EMS 1012

hi i was just wondering what was the difference between the AEM EMS 1012 and the 1052. thanxs for all the help.

Pin outs. On the 1052, they use the D clip for all the extra inputs and outputs. On the 1012 they are mixed in on the A B and C connector. It just makes it easier to wire up things like boost controllers and extra senors. Both boxes function the same, however with the differant pin outs, maps are not easily transferable.

if i was just going to go supercharged not planning on going turbo will this do fine since i dont need a boost controller etc.

Yes, like I said they are both the same, the pin placement is just differant.

I thought I read somewhere that 1052 improved the starting. 1012 had long cranking period on starter before it would light off. Supposedly it was indepent of the s/w configuration.
