My friend has it setup on his car maybe he can chime in on here Minitoyota.
I think Evans set his retard rpm for 4500???
Spec do you have the inline pro diff yet?

Nope not yet.

Let me know what his parameters are as mine, for some reason, isn't cutting out at 5k rpms as defined

Ok good news is I got it working . You have to do the 2 step rev limiter wizard as well to define what kind of cut you want (soft all the way to 100% hard cut).

What is everyones parameter for tha (soft/medium/hard?) and also what is everyones rev retard rpm number -- I have no idea what it really is?

My specs are:
Fuel cut 5000
Ignition cut 4900
VSS 5mph
Retard rev 4800

This is known as a soft cut. It will pop and backfire.

Fuel cut 5500
Ignition cut 5000
VSS 3mph
Retard rev 12000

I'm not sure what the retard rev is for either but I haven't had any problems with the settings above

since you guys have the aem ems i was wondering if anyone can help me. my car starts right up when cold but after i go for a ride around the block and shut the car off,it wont start back up, i've tried everyting ,grounds and even a new battery. it has enough volts to start but it wont, and it's always when hot so i was thinking it might be coolant temp? my warm up enrichment table says 37.11% on -40 coolant temp. can anybody help me?

I'm starting to think its how low the rpms will drop when you hit the cut (unless its above the set rpm cut).

Thanks to you and John Z for your guys settings.


I've been making some flames the past few hours; 900F EGT + Ignition Cut FTW
