Default aem ems

My questions is with the aem ems do you need a resistor box to run these injectors? Does it matter if there peak and hold or saturated? I bought my injectors so long ago I can't remember if there peak and hold or saturated. How can I check to see what they are by using the aem ems? By just checking the resistance?

just measure the impedance using a multimeter. if they're in the 3-5 ohm range you'll need the resistor box. if they're in the 12-16 ohm range then you don't need the resistor box.

after typing this I remembered in the AEM software it lists the resistance of the injectors in the primary injector wizard. the Siemens 756cc's are 3 ohm according to the software so yes you'll need the resistor box.

Yes thank you for the help. ill be sure to get a resistor box. How hard is it to wire something up like that?

it's not that hard, just some extra wiring to each injector.

Are you sure they are 750's?
Most of the ones that are sold are the 60 lb/hour (Especially through Inline Pro)but with added fuel pressure (86 psi) can flow as much as an 880. I know the ones I have were touted as flowing 750 but were actually the siemens 60lb an hour which do NOT need the resistor box.

Im trying to find a definate answer because people keep saying they do need a resistor box some people saying they don't. they are 3 ohm so i don't know if that makes a difference low impedance. I haven't started the car yet.

If they are 3 Ohms then you definitely can not run them on the AEM EMS without a resistor box or the AEM peak and hold box.

Yeah my 60 lb an hour from Inline Pro are high impedance.
