^ Yes, I believe that white smoke is coolant. Pretty much any color smoke aside from black, which is fuel, shoule be a concern. That is unless its cold out.

It's probably partially condensed water vapor if it only lasts for a short term during a cold start up. If it was coolant you'd see it every time.

 

I'm takin my car to someone else tommorow, hopefully he can figure this out. BTW I did get the thicker headgasket, 3mm from InlinePro.

Xclusive, it has been pretty cold here. But the smoke comin from my exhast does not disappear real fast like most vehicles. It hangs around for awhile for all to see, kinda like fog. Oh, and what is partially condensed water vapor? My tuner mentioned somethin like that, just curious what it is, or better yet, anything to worry about?

 

Found a new tuner today, he did in 5 minutes what the other shop could not do in 2 months. Will visit him again. Got the idle on my car fixed today, I hope. It has not started to rev up and down real quick in a while so I hope it is fixed. Only a couple more issues to work out and I will be happy. He also told me my car does read the air temp, but reads it kinda screwed up. The numbers are not what they should be. Will take my car back to him when I get some more cash, and hope he can fix another problem on my list.
