its on race gas right now and i uploaded the 91 octane tune ( i hope*) the race gas wont affect it i will fill her up after i figure out that its ok

When you connect the ems to your laptop and turn the car (not the engine) on, the ems downloads TO the laptop. You should see the name of the file in the top bar of the ems software.

when i hook it up all it says is workmap v1.9 cal name ricardo but when its not connected its when it says the complete file name at the top i dont want to put 91 octane and it be on the wrong calibration

well i put 91 octane in it took it around the block and the afr's still look good or would they even be diffrent having the wrong gas in plz help

What you're experiencing is how it properly functions. When online, the ems file is called workmap. That's to protect your original file from any changes you may make.

Per the manual: 3.3 calibrations

When working online, a copy of the ems calibration is held in a file called th workmap file...when uploading or downloading a file, the workmap file will be changed to the calibration held in the ems.

So if you uploaded your cal map to the ems properly, which it sounds like you did, then you're okay.
