By default the purge solenoid is off with aem ems. Unless you turn it on under boost you wont have any issues. The purge solenoid has no problems with boost. And unless you have to put the stock ecu back in just rip all the evap crap out

What's the best solution for people that have to swap between ems units and stock ecu's for inspections ect??

Is check valving my only option?

you really shouldnt need a check valve... there is a pressure sensor in the evap system that does goto the ecu.. you could use that to monitor the pressure in the system and do some testing on it.

I acually had a AEM EMS 1012(old school) fry out on my car just last week and am waiting to hear back from aem. Luckily i also have a v2 that i have installed in my other car and just swaped while i resolve my problem but i have never had a starting issue with the 1052u or the v2. Odyssey for sure when it comes to batteries.

I understand Kpro is the "best" way to do this, however I will be running a Haltech PNP and swapping it out for Kpro isn't an option.

That said, I have no issue swapping out injectors/ecu/map sensor to pass emissions once a year, but certainly don't want to rip all of my evap equipment out if there is a way to leave it in/modify for boost.

I already have an air pump sim, but still have some concerns about the evap stuff.

Any suggestions?
