even with a standalone the tuner needs to know what they are doing. lol
but, i gather your point.
at this point the only thing I wish the F/IC had built into it was a VTEC controller and a few more points of adjustment on the fuel map. other than that, I am satisfied.

I have a funny problem with mine... I went to use the bypass jumper and the car then idles like shit with it in and threw a CEL. I didnt pull the code because as soon as I plugged the FIC back in, everything was fine again.
Could the Boomslang have something possibly wired wrong? I havnt had a chance to just totally pull out the wire harness and all to make sure my car is good without the FIC.... Now the big question!!
If I totally remove the harness and wire only stock to stock ecu, and it still idles like shit, what could that mean? It Idles fine with the FIC installed.
