Default AEM fuel pump wont prime!

Hello all, I don't post much but I'm always on here. I recently installed the SOS relay kit for my AEM 320 Fuel pump and drove it for 2 days hitting boost no issues. I had my car at Hot Import Nights Cleveland, parked my S. I go to move it maybe 10 minutes after shutting it off and the pump won't prime. I can hear the relay switching on but the pump won't prime. I checked all of my fuses and they were fine! (25A in the relay, and the 15A under column) I disconnect the relay connector and check for power and ground and it has both, used a different relay and same issue. And yes I was working in the trunk during the show lol I got it towed home afterwards and havnt taken the pump out to check it or anything yet, want to see if anyone has any idea !

I have ID1000 injectors
Stock fuel rail
AEM fuel pressure regulator
No fuel pressure gauge(i should do)
And the AEM 320 pump
Running on 93 pump
Tuned at 10psi on AEMv2

Since you've confirmed your relay is working, have you put a voltmeter on the positive lead going to your pump? Also, have you checked the conductance of your ground? If both of those check out, has to be your pump. Let us know what you find out.

I will try to get to it today, thanks! I just don't get why it worked perfectly fine one second and the next it doesn't at all. Car was idling perfect before shutting it off

As mentioned above Ray, perform the following test and let us know the outcome. I've heard of 2 pumps go out. Aem warranties them as well. Goodluck bro.

Alright thanks man, at the show I took a dome light bulb and 2 wires to check for power and ground. Bulb lit up pretty bright but I'll get a multimeter to it soon

I had the an AEM 320 fail on me from one moment to the next. I also was running E85 through the non e85 pump for over 2 years.

I bought an AEM320 for e85 this time around. I had the same symptoms as you describe. They wont cover the non ethanol pump if you use E85 and they have a one year replace/ repair warranty.

I suppose I've been an outspoken critic of the AEM, aeromotive pumps. If the OP finds it's the pump that's the cause. I'd recommend DON'T put in the same brand that let you down. Go with something with a better track record; denso (OEM supplier) or walbro. Why would you chance anything with fuel?? I've been stuck on an interstate 70 miles from anywhere. You don't want that. It's extraordinarily bad feeling.

I said nothing bad about them. I just wanted to point out that i had the same symptoms and it was a failed pump. The reason MY pump went out cause i switch to E85/flex fuel and never switched to the E85 version of the pump. If you dont use the E85 spcefic pump for ethanol it will fail. It says it in the manual. http://aemelectronics.com/files/inst...uel%20Pump.pdf

That being said i didnt want to alter my tune or take the chance of having to retune so i went with the same pump just the E85 version.
