Default AEM gauge installation

Hello,

I am about to install a comptech SC with AEM 1052U ecu. I have a greddy informeter to get some info like water temperature etc. This data logger is connected to the OBDII port of the car. My tuner told me that with AEM ecu you diactivate the OBDII port of the car. He told me that i can use AEM gauge which connects to the AEM serial connection. Is there any way i can still use the data informeter to get readings?

I asked him if i can use OBDII to serial connection in order to connect it with AEM ecu but he told me that is different protocols. Has anybody come across this problem?

If i cannot find any solution i am planning to buy the AEM 19 channel gauge and install it. Can you please saw me some pictures of where have you put your gauges in the car?

Thanks
Chris

the AEM doesn't output anything on the OBDII port. the AEM serial gauges are awesome, quick access to lots of sensors with min/max memory. I put two on the A pillar, nothing crazy.
