Default AEM inline Uego controller & serial gauge AFR

Hi,

I'm running a AEM Series 2 ECU, inline Uego wideband controller with a couple of serial gauges.

When Maze mapped my car a couple of months ago he said my AFR values were off and don't match the dynos.

How accurate is my current set up? Has anyone else experienced this? If so, it their anyway in the setting the sensor can be fine tuned?

Advice is much appreciated

You'll have to check your calibrations for the WB controller/gauge with another "known good" WB to see where your's sits.

I think in the exhaust tips at the back of the car.

I would of thought this was the reason the value was different but Mase didn't seem to think so?

Does the ECU get the reading from the wide band? Mines fitted in to primary O2 port in the header.

well a wideband in exhaust is goign to read richer than a sniffer in tail pipe, that is normal

That makes sense.

So when mapping the car how come the mappers use the dyno readings when the values are taken from the exhaust cans?

My tuner always pulls my WB from my exhaust, and uses his. He doesn't use a sniffer.
