AEM meth kit battery drain issues
Just doing some checks on my car and found the source of my battery drain issue to be the aem meth kit.
Aem has it set up as a ground switched kit. A hot lead from the battery goes into the pump. The ground then comes out of the pump and goes to the controller where it is switched on or off.
Sitting at the battery with the voltmeter can see the load increase when connecting or disconnecting the aem lead.
Anyone else encountered this? Is there any switched power leads in the fusebox I can use that would handle the load? I really don't want to make things messy with another additional relay...

I never bothered to change it, but if you’re having issues, I think the simple solution is to just wire in an on/off switch. Just flip it on when you drive the car and off when you park it. Manual override. You could embellish it a bit with a cool missile launch style switch in the center consol, the type with the red flip up cover over the switch, my Buddy did this

Which AEM? Never heard of this. I don't think my 1052 does that?
I stated to look into it then was side tracked. My guess is my stereo setup may have something wrong.
As for that guys mil being on aem can be programed to do that. He needs to check settings. That can be fixed. Mine comes on when I go over 8k
