Default aem watermeth pump squealing

its the second aem pump that make me that,on the second i put eurethane on thetop offthe pump where de wire goes in, the pump still turn but is squealing,

i found a video on youtube, my pump is doing the same sound,anyone off you had this problem? there is a better pump that i can buy ,im the second pump i had under warrenty, i run 50 50 water alcool mixture

Mine was behind my fender. If it squeals I can't hear it.

Ok.. If you have your pump mounted on the same orientation displayed on the video + is exposed to moisture it will seize. This pumps are not sealed well were the cables go in and rain water or moisture get in the pump and rust all the internals. I had the same problem and opened it up and was all rusted inside. I recomend you to open it and see if you can grease up the bearings and check that the spring shoes are ok. Next time put silicone seal were the cables go and in every hole.

its done, its my second pump, the other was change under warrenty,i sealed the top of the pump with eurethane windshield where the two wire goes in, thereis a better brain of pump, aem seem to be not last at all, mine was new off september...

have mine mounted in fender well under battery been there for almost a year and 8k miles no problems unless you run reservoir dry in the summer i had to take the line off at the injector to get it to prime cooler weather it self primes just fine and i run 20-50% meth. hope this doesn't happen to mine
