I think it's a reworked stock manifold.

Anyone have any experience with the FB intake? The price of $695 doesn't seem bad but is it worth switching out the stock intake for it if going well over 800 whp? Would the stock manifold perform just as good when nearing 1000 whp?

The Projay is $1100 but has it been proven?

I can't seem to find anything on the Kinsler. How much do they run?

Kinsler has different options like 2 fuel rails, different port design, throttle body opening, etc. Best to talk to T1.

For the OP, I don't think a manifold is worth it. Maybe a ported/worked stocker like the Wilson in that picture but not a 1000 dollar plus one. For you Spoolin, it would probably be more beneficial. I'd look and see what people at that power level are doing.

Projay came here, said hey great new product, then had no evidence or any testing that it even performs as good as a stock manifold... even after lots of offers to test it on a dyno...

Ok, so the Kinsler looks to be about $2500. Do you think it will significantly outperform the FB unit for the price difference if making well over 800 whp? Is that price really worth it for a street car making big power or more for someone strictly building for drag strip use?

I'd use stock for any sort of street car. I didn't see much gains below 900. And after 1000 is when the kinsler really started to shine. With Magnus i didn't see any gains over stock.

Thanks man, that's good to know. I was planning on dynoing near 1000 whp and then backing it down to around 900 whp or so for the street. Looks as though the stock manifold will be fine.
