Wow! 80mm?!?! I thought you were running a 72mm compressor. I'm assuming Garrett? Or is it a Comp Turbo? I know you tried one of the Comp Turbos, right?

I purchased a bmc billet pro recently and it seems to be a very well engineered piece but I haven't ran it on the car yet. Has anyone else ran this manifold on their combination or can shed any light on it? Quoted from bmc was over $2500 new?! Luckily I picked it up used for a lot less but I like the second set of injectors on the bottom ad well as full O ring seals and unbolt able plenum, and well the fact that it is a full billet manifold from the plenum to the runners, no worries about the aluminum distorting at all

I also have the billet BMC intake manifold with two fuel rails. I think they are out of business or very hard to get a hold of. Not sure. Have you used yours? Mine keeps cracking on the welds on the runners.

I had bought a gt42r from Kings initially and it ended up having damaged exhaust wheel that were all bent and chipped on every single fin and the Kings would not do anything about it. After that headache, I talked to Comp Turbo but they did not, at the time, have anything larger than a 72mm. I used one a couple of their turbos on a corvette ls7 and really liked their design. But after Tial came out with their Vband SS exhaust housings that are like 1/3 the weight of the normal t4 4-bolt titanic exhaust housings, I got a gtx45 from cheapturbo.com.

NWDyno, didn't you buy the BMC billet intake from me? That was like 4 years ago. I barely even took it out of the box. Sucks to hear you are having problems with it. I think the guy went into service or something. Is the flange warped?

I haven't ran mine yet but it looks amazing? I talked with him literally like 4 days ago and he said he only built a few of them but had 0 issues with them? All I did was google bmc race and called their number and either he or his wife will pick up and help you out I think? I haven't ever had a problem getting ahold of them

Redboost, I believe I bought it from the gentleman who purchased it from you initially. I bit the bullet today and ordered a Kinsler after discussing the engine build with 4 Piston.

I have never did business with Kings, but have heard some things.

Did you end up losing out money on the GT42R? Was it used and why wouldn't Kings fix things? I always thought they were stand up guys like FB since they were friends and all. At least thats what I thought....

they claimed it was used for a few dyno pulls and in like new condition. Being the "reputable shop" that they are, i believed them. exhaust fins were all chipped up and bent. they offered to pay for shipping to garrett to have it inspected, nothing else. king spec gt42r
