Default AFR gauge

I was looking to get a AFR gauge now (going to put a test pipe on, maybe a fuel pressure regulator to control AFR. I like the PLX gauges, but if I plan on doing FI later on down the road, and I will need engine management, should I just go ahead and buy an AEM wideband so I can use it with their engine management? If this is the case then can you buy the AEM without the UEGO and use the this other one? If you get eManage would it be better to get a Greddy gauge? I am looking to only buy one gauge that I can use again as my build progresses. Thanks!

The answer to your question is yes. You can buy a 1052 AEM EMS, the 1052u is the one with built in UEGO. Both routes turn out to be about the same as far as cost go. The 1052 plus a gauge type UEGO will run you about the same as a 1052u. The UEGO will plug into one of the inputs of the EMS as far as I understand. Someone correct me if I am wrong. As far as the Emanage, brand of wideband makes no difference.

i'm going to plug an Innovate LC-1 into a E-manage ultimate. All widebands have a 5V analog output for wideband signal

I have an autometer wideband and an emanage. When I switch to the 1052 in the spring I will hook my autometer gauge into the AEM EMS.
