Default After 15 Months She Finally Lives

Well after 15 months of working on the car she finally was out on the road Saturday. A little background, I bought Jason's Collette's MP62 kit when he went TVS1320. I didn't have all the pieces as he kept some. I sourced a lot and had a machine shop make some parts. Mark (Mugenrios2k) let me take the blower off and get the measurements of brackets I was missing. During the whole process I ended up getting a divorce since the now ex-wife had an affair. So I moved out and have joint custody of my daughter half the time, so working on the car took a back seat for awhile. Eventually, I got all the parts sourced, AEM v2 and all the other stupid bolts and crap you need. I got it put back together and then the AEM took a dump and had to be sent back. It was repaired under warranty. Finally we upgraded the tune from 1v01 to 2v02 using their supercharged base tune and filling in with the tune Jason had.

Got it to crank but it was hunting for idle. Got that smoothed out and took her around the block. Ran smooth and solid till the belt slipped off. The supercharger is maybe 1/16" too far back. We didn't check the belt after we got it cranked. Regardless it is an easy fix. Now a few adjustments and off to the dyno to add back timing. Dyno results coming, but will be a few weeks.

Stats on the car:
MP62 (SOT kit)
Prototype crank pulley (bigger one than was offered)
AEM v2 with serial gauge
Upgraded Fluidyne/PWR A2W intercooler
ID1000s
Wal 255 lph
Test pipe
Mugen AP2 exhaust
lightweight battery (in trunk)
Soft top removed
Trunk gutted
Defi Oil pressure and oil temp
Ohlin DFV
Gendron front bar
built diff with ATS 1.5 way, reinforced housing, etc... stock gearing (still not installed but on hand)
Mugen hardtop (authentic)

This will be an auto-x car and fun to take out occasionally. Big wheels and tires are next on the buy list.

Pics and dyno below.

So here are some pics. I will caption them later.

Edit:

Some pics were from the removal of the soft top. We pulled the soft top and then installed the fuel pump. Put the roll bar back up.

Some pics were from the removal of the stock stuff (battery is in the trunk now, AC is relocated, etc)

Some pics were from the install of supercharger after the bracket was finally done. Took 3 prototype brackets before I could get it to line up. Was a source of major delay. Cut the bracket out of carbon steel to save money, then once it fit got it cut in stainless.

Some pics were from the A2W intercooler set-up. It was wrapped in the gold tape when I bought it. Jason actually didn't run the intercooler much, he went straight pipe with water injection. I have that pipe too if I want to change it.

Some pics were from the dash install. Picked up a dash with cutouts for the gauges. I'm running Defi Oil temp and oil pressure in the dash and the AEM serial data gauge where the audio control used to be.

I will add some more pics later once I get the bumper and hood back on. If there is any particular picture anyone would like to see, let me know and I'll take them.

Me neither. It has been way too long. Once I got out on the road I was like a kid on Christmas. I couldn't stop smiling for hours.
