IS A AFTERCOOLER REALLY NECESSARY?

Anybody ever try using one of those nitrous aftercooler sprayers on their supercharger IC? i've heard they work great for turbos, but these vortechs don't have much surface area.

when i ran a 3inch pulley on my comptech, my tuner wouldnt touch my setup unless it had a aftercooler.

why not do what the other guys are doing and plumb in a air intercooler and just get a smaller pulley

Yeah, PWR liquid intercoolers can be custom fitted to practically any application, which is nice now that Comptech isn't around. The only thing is you'd need to custom fabricate everything, plus you'd need to find a suitable water pump and heat exchanger. Those looking for a "bolt-on and go" kind of deal are pretty much SOL...unless there's a stock of CT aftercooler kits lying in a warehouse somewhere.

I remember there was another guy here with a Suzuka Blue S (I forgot his SN), but he had practically the same exact setup as the one in that pic. It seemed to work fine, from what I remember.
