Default Aftermarket oil sensor and temp on ems

Hi...
I just Like to Know if i CAN just splice the wire (do a "Y "") on my aem ems to install aftermarket sensor like oil psi and oil temp instead of cutting the wire on my ems?

Why not de-pin the factory harness, or use a patch harness so you don't have to cut into the stock wiring at all?

what i want to do is just install a splice connecter on the oem ecu wire and run the wire to the sensor...
is it good? or i need to cut the wire?!!!

your link look too complicated for me...
