Is there a way to remove it while having the stock ECU? I have a Greddy turbo with a test pipe, so no cat to warm up. It's causing me headaches with a CEL (p0140) so if I could get rid of it and get rid of CELs, that would be awesome.

Unfortunately no one has found a way to fool the ecu into thinking the air pump is there

supposedly yanking some relay clears the light. i wouldnt know, i put it back on.

auriel if space is an issue you could just leave the pump in and disconnect the air lines - that will buy you at least some space.

Hmmm...gonna check out the Vortech install thing. I don't really care so much about removing it. I want to fool the airpump/ECU into thinking it's working fine, but actually not doing anything.

I need to look at how it's actually routed and what exactly it does.

the only parts you need to keep are the power steering fuse and the air pump fuse, we are gonna eliminate all the rest
