The airpump ("injects" fresh air into the exhaust to help bring the catalytic converter up to operating temperature faster and thus reduce emissions on cold start) is automatically disabled by using the K-Pro ECU. You may remove the airpump and associated components without getting a CEL.

Ah ok. I thought kpro was supposed to maintain emissions standards so it could pass some of the tests.

Good to know though.

Kpro maintains OBDII port readability, which allows you to pass inspection/emissions. Even if you had a CEL you would be able to turn it off in kpro for testing time.

It does allow you to pass the tests...just in a different way than you thought.
