Okay, but now how much is it going to be for the custom mounting plate and idler pulleys since SOS no longer makes the kit?

$275 for the mounting plate through SOS last i checked. Nothing else needed.

I emailed them and they've stopped production. bBut if I can get 5 more people to pitch in they'll do a small batch. Price is still a turn off though ($2100USD=$2680CDN +shipping+duties). I will contact Comptech to get a quote though. But for now I'm gonna have to stick with my $850 rebuild.

Comptech also sells a plate that costs about the same. It's orginially designed for the Novi 1220, but my understanding was if you countersink the blower mounting holes you should have no problem mounting a 1200 with a smaller pulley on it. It probably also fits better than the shitty SOS adapter plate fitment. (Aftercooler was a PITA to install and the blower mounting location prevents you from using ~40% of the tensioner range which is kind of important to prevent belt slip....)

Sucks they charge so much. You can get used blower kits for under 4k. Sometimes pricing of stuff makes no sense.
