i meant to say AMS recomends using pure denatured alcohol than meth

methanol as a fuel is its corrosivity to some metals, including aluminium

they said denatured alcohol burns clearner

i'm thinking since E85 is made from grain alcohol it should burn clean and efficient

Just a little update. My brother went 11.45@127 this last weekend on his radials. Best 60' of 1.9

We're probably going to run a 15" radial so we can get a little more sidewall... The 40 series 17's just don't cut it.

That is a pretty bold statement. If you purchase a kit with a failsafe and do the install correctly you shouldn't have any issues. I am currently looking at getting the Aquamist setup for my both S2000 and my wife's Evo.

we've seen enough cars with blown motor that were installed correctly(8 total at the shop last year). methanol is awsome when they work but they fail. We recommend running meth injection to help cool the car not for running 30 psi and pray to god that pump will not fail.
here are the prob with meth injection kit
-pump cannot work fast enough in lower gears because it is not a pressurized unit
-the meth kit pump is not designed for methanol use
- when running high boost, if the pump fails its too late even if you have failsafe
i recommend meth to people who know what they are doing. if you are not careful IT WILL BLOW

A new clutch is needed before new tires as of right now... We didn't get the car to the track since it's 11.45 pass.

And it won't see the track again till spring...
