Default Another Car will not start thread

Been having problems recently trying to start my S. Could it be that I replaced the tct too late, and the chain possibly failed?. I have a normal starting noise but no turn over. And I just replaced the fuel pump and its working fine. Any ideas?

Happy Turkey day everyone,

Josh

Could it be seized injectors?

did it ever start on the tune that you have loaded onto the AEM before? if it didn't try loading a new tune.

do you hear the fuel pump priming?

why did you replace the fuel pump, what led you to believe there was something wrong with the other one?

Have you checked for spark?

Have you checked for compression?

Its not likely that all of your injectors seized - - as said above, check for the prime and fuel pressure. have you checked fuses or anything of that sort also?

U sir are correct . I loaded the base tune with my injectors and fired right up. I really don't know what changes were made. I haven't touched the tune since early October... For some reason my crank injector pulse table was not set where it was supposed to be.

My other problem is my clutch feels like a sponge. It will only go into first if I press the clutch a few times (even then you have to shove it in there. And unless I really throw it into reverse I am pretty much locked out of it. I have never really driven the car this late in the year (or this cold). I was going to put it in storage, but haven't gotten around to it until today (thanks for the help btw). I have just been driving the really old Taurus since my tct issue. And the clutch was fine at that point. This clutch thing is really worrying me tho. I don't care if I have to put a new one in. I just really don't wish to until next spring when it comes out of storage.

About the fuel pump: (I know this sounds really stupid, but it was just as cheap for me to put in a fuel pump than get the adapter for the fuel rail to check the pressure. The local mechanic didn't have one, as he hardly ever works on foreign cars. The Advanced Auto store in Cedar Falls doesn't have one. And the only place I could find the adapter online was in the kits that cost over 100 bucks. It was running lean pretty much every time I started to accelerate for a few seconds regardless of how hard I put my foot down. My tuner tried to add more fuel in that area to compensate, but it really didn't help. He told me it was definitely a fuel related issue. The new pump is a lot louder when it primes compared to the other one tho. Not sure why as I ordered the same one that the previous owner put in (or so I thought at least).

Thanks for the help guys,

Josh
