oh i know. no worries. a lot of people prefer backpurged manifolds and that is their personal choice. i just don't feel it is a necessity on an exhaust manifold. trying to backpurge consistently takes a lot of time and patience and added equipment. if it is done properly you are basically doubling your labour cost on a welded manifold.

 

i know it does take forever, and it burns through argon like crazy! i purged the manifold i made for my car, nice colorful welds on the inside, but it took forever!
