Quick question..
If useing Standard size Valves on intake side and 1mm OS on exhuast what springs are used on intake and what is used on Exhuast?
I am in the Process of choosing 1mm OS valves on both sides and am looking into dual springs and Spring locators and TI Retainers.
So what setup should i look for if i go with 1mm OS on Exhuast? Can i use stock Spring setup?

There is no room for 1mm over on both intake and exhaust without using offset guides.

If the valves are stainless and weigh less than the original valves the choice of spring is less critical. If you use stock springs I suggest you go with intake springs all the way around since they are a little stronger than exhaust springs.

Bingo! My oversized stainless steel intake valves are several grams lighter than the factory intake valves too.

Your quotes are from two different posts. Can you elaborate? Are you saying that your headwork increased the flow on the exhaust, but left the exhaust valve size alone? BUt you increased the size of the intake valve?

People have previously on other 4V cars concerned themselves with the smaller and smaller "ridge" of metal between the valves. This can become too small and create a problem at higher combsution temps. Valve seats warp, valves don't seat, issues crop up.
