On the instructions it states that you should install the replacement ring, then the new metal disk, then the new diaphragm. Now the 12:1 doesnt come w/ with this ring. Do you just use the old ring inside, or do you take it off and install without it? The instructions seems to be more for the ratio kits that includes the ring. Here's a link for reference.
