Anyone run trackdays with SC or Turbo?
In the hot SoCali weather, track temps can get 100F+. My car often overheats and I have to do a couple cool-down laps to get back to normal.
Any have a SC/Turbo setup that they regularly track? How did you manage the heat issues?
Also, I have a Spearco front mount radiator that I believe blocks air flow, thus accerlerating overheating. Anyone with this same setup experience this?
Also, I am looking to install an oil cooler. What are the popular brands/models?
Maybe adding guages, what else do I need??
Thanks!

Will in Portland tracks his CTSC car VERY often and I don't think he's had any problems at all. I also have CTSC with aftercooler and Spearco A/C rad. I've never had a problem with mine overheating on extended "highly spirited" drives. I don't track mine anymore since the insurance companies have changed their tune on covering you at an HPDE. Ie... most of them don't at all. I really wouldn't worry about it. Maybe add Redline Water Wetter to your radiator mix, and to your aftercooler. I have a Koyo radiator which is probably helping my setup, but I still doubt that you'd have trouble.
Probably one of the easier oil cooler kits would be the Greddy kit that Evasive sells. Link here.. Or, you could go with an Earl's cooler and build your own lines. Just use a high quality oil cooler and you'll be fine. And if it were up to me, I'd be using SS braided lines. I think the push on lines are neat, but I'm a little afraid of them splitting at the connectors. I was going to use a small cooler like the Greddy and mount it inside the nose, under my right side headlight. The just have my own lines fabbed up. But, I haven't had ANY overheating issues with the engine water or oil, so I've let that be.
