Default Anyone try a CC pressure plate

Just wondering if anyone has tried this combination? I was planning on changing the pp and disk out for an ACT pp and oem disk. I figure why not try the CC pp with OEM disk, since the pp only has about 3k miles on it. I've also read that a lot of these companies are just using reworked Honda pp...

Please input.....

Correct me if I'm wrong but I was under the impression that the CC PP was lighter then OEM? I think my clutch pedal was stiffer when I had the stock clutch installed.

the reason the ACT works so well is because it has more clamp load, the CC PP im not sure about its clamp load. ACT is a 2600lb pressure plate.

I spoke to the guys at CC and they said it should be fine. They mentioned their pressure plate has a 2400lb clamp force..

OEM disk is organic and will turn to mush under high tq conditions.

I would say anything above 300ft lbs is high tq. I personally wouldn't take an oem disk past 275ft lbs just for longevity reasons.

OEM disk + 370ft/lb= perfect. Cant say I agree with you. I have an ACT organic disk, its the same as OEM they are both organic.
