I've been wanting to switch over to E85 for quiet some time now and just have my car tuned for 93oct and another map for E85 on the same setup just in case I cant find E85 for some reason.

I dont mean to threadjack but I also didn't want to start another thread on the same topic. Hopefully if my question gets answered it can help out the OP and others as well.
Also since the topic was asked with the Mase kit, and I run one I thought it'd be fitting for this thread as well.

Mase Kit
Stock Motor
Walbro 255
1000cc Injectors
6262 Turbo

My question pertaining to this topic is:
Would I be able to run the stock fuel lines, or is an upgrade necessary?
I do plan on get ID2000s for sure, and a KB BAP or run dual pumps.
I have no specific number in mind as far as WHP goal.. just as long as its a nice gain above what I am currently running.

Aside from the bigger injectors and BAP/ Dual pumps, am I missing anything on my list? A retune is obvious, thus I did not list this.

Fullblown hanger, dual walbros, -8 returns, -8 feeds, Inline pro fuel rail, fuel lab regulator, ID2000cc, tuned on E85 @ 32psi@720whp. 75% duty cycles. Mase's kit also, MASE .
Same setup I've got

If you are blessed enough to have E85 readily available to you I would definitely take advantage of it. One thing to take in consideration is I've got several friends with evos and SRTs on e85 and they all report bad gas mileage. Which ofcourse that's expected on a race car, but on 93 they do get better mpg.

For the same price of regular pump gas, you can't beat it for the octane rating it carries

yea, i know, lol, but making decisions aren't as easy as they seem when all I have to rely on is the forums. i find myself repeating things frequently just to get confirmation security from multiple people with experience instead of just one, all for the need to get it right. ugh. lol

now im hearing i need to modify with a new fuel pump for e85- anyway to get around this?
( i currently have a walbro fuel pump and 1000ccinjectors with 57/58 )
i want to go e85 but if it will cost as much as the ms109 (65$ for 5 gallons) just to modify for the e85 then forget it...

I am going this route in the spring as well. E85 is much safer to run due to its cooling properties and 108 octane rating. I am going to run a full blown setup so I dont run out of fuel. I don't think a BAP is going to give you enough fuel to run. You will also need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator as well. There is a chart floating around showing that increased fuel pressure will make the ID 1000's flow more. Be careful of ID 2000 injectors, a lot of people are having part throttle issues with these injectors.
Thanks
Forgot to mention I am already running an adjustable FPR.

I may just go with the FB setup as well.
