AP2, newer and better body style.
They have and are coming out with FI kits for the 06+ models.

I live the AP2 overall than the AP1...

But im considering getting an Ap1 for my track car. Cheaper and 9K for FI.

You can get an Ap1 anywhere from $12-18. AP2 here in Atlanta are around 19K-25K atleast.

I like the looks of the AP2. Also knowing that I would be keepting this one for quite a while, I wanted a new car.

The AP1s that I test drove seemed a little more raw in the handeling department, (a good thing). And the motor stays in vtec during the first to second shift.

In my book, the AP1 gets the nod for race car feel while the AP2 feels a little more refined. That beeing said, actual performance seems to be a wash between the two.

In a perfect world, I would have one of each.

Justin,

I don't think there's any objective answer to your question. Plus, since you're talking about FI, I'm moving this thread to that forum...

The only point I want to make is that MY06-MY07 changed the game considerably for the aftermarket FI manufacturers. The fuel delivery system that's part of drive-by-wire means that previous kits are incompatible. So, beware on that front. As GOS said above, kits for the MY06+ models are coming on line, so it doesn't mean you can't do it.
