Do you guys think rewiring the fuel pump or even changing out to a 340lph is gonna give me extra room on the comptech FPR?

It seems to make sence since there is the possibility that the 255 could be struggling at high rpms.

Whatever I am running seems to be working for me. Now whether it's due to the pump... OR my AFR not reading correctly LOL we will never know. Wait till I dyno and can confirm the AFRs with their gauge and I'll get back to you.

My personal opinion just for the sound alone it was worth every penny not to mention no need to rewire. Hacking up my OEM electrical system? No thx.

EDIT: I have another issue now. Gas smell. I am investigating as we speak. It seems to be building up in the cabin but during any driving it fades away. Really tired of it stinking. Wonder if its the fuel pump rubber gasket or an actual leak. Engine bay doesn't smell like gas tho.

So far I checked the following....

- Comptech FPR connectors.
- All around the injectors
- Cleaned the trunk with its lining out and washed the carpets just in case I dripped anywhere.
- Took the spare out and cleaned all of the area with quick detailer

Make sure its the new style with the center filter incorperated into it for added flow and filtration

Gentlemen,

I am still battling with a strong gasoline smell in my cabin especially after the vehicle is shut off and sits for some time. It's like coming back to a gas chamber. I checked the following....

1) Fuel Lines that go to the Fuel Pump. Depressurized the system, unplugged them and plugged them back in. (I still haven't reinstalled my rear Tray and wont until this is resolved.)
2) Fuel line that that connects to the bottom of Comptech's FPR
3) Fitting at the Fuel Line

Anything else im missing?

What about the pump assembly gasket? Pull it up and make sure there is no tear or it's not deformed.

Alright, No luck. Took it all apart, cleaned all around the gasket, the gasket it self, etc...

Gas smell persists.

I am getting a new fuel cap. Let's see if that fixes it.

250HP on

Dyno Dynamics heart breaker dyno. He said to have Dyno Jet numbers add about 15%.

287hp with a 120k motor? I am happy.
