Ap1 pfab eltm gt35r finally dyno

Being on e85 already, youre prob going to make about the same unless you go bigger injectors and start turning up the boost. I forgot about your setup. Its very similar to mine.

yup we have similar set up. Reason I ask is because looking at the power chart we have in here. A few s2000 back in the days made it into the low 600hp mark with. C16 and q16. If switching over can land me close to the 600 mark. I wanna go that route over bigger injector and upping the boost

Youre on 1000cc right? Youll prob be maxed out around 550 on e85 on those injectors. I have 1300cc and im at low/mid 80% dc at only 500. Just go bigger injectors, maybe some id1700x or fiveo injectors and call it a day. Near 600 on 1000cc youre going to be in the 90s duty cycle % and thats risky. It looks like you got wverything else needed to go 600 minus the injectors

Also this. This is pretty much the only other difference my tuner made on my setup. Also gapped down to .017. But now my car idles rough. Would spark plug gap effect idle? Cause before the retune my car idles lile factory

It was breaking up so he pulled them then regapped them tighter to .017 using feeler gauges. Im wondering if its something he changed in the tune thats making low rev accelleration and idle shitty now or if its the tighter plugs. I know dw injectors have a history of bad low width inj pulse rate and idle characteristics but it was perfectly fine before the retune.

Mijae007 my other option is go over to 1700cc injector. I'm currently on 1000cc injector. Max my fuel system at base fuel being 70psi. When I was at .024 gap. My idle is smooth. At .017 my idle is still good but you do get a pop sounds but nothing bad. My idle is at 1100-1200rpm.

mine was breaking up top also. That's why he has me gapped to .017.

I would look at both dyno tunes from now and previous when you said it was good @ injector dead times and see if they are same or not (not leaning towards this tho.) seeing as it should have been done on the initial, most probable cause may be the tighter gaps, in that case a hotter or next step down which would be the stock heat (7 heat range) may help. E85 is oxygenated and very forgiving, and your on e85 all the time soo I wouldn't deem the 8's as good cheap insurance seeing you have a lot of good performance properties in the fuel your running. this is something you can do as well. As long as it doesn't break up the widest gap is the best. You wanna start kinda high (not stock gap) but in the .028/.024 range. pretty much you don't have to worry about it "effecting" your tune. Your personal driving preference and behavior/street driving is the last step in tuning. Seeing as your at .017 on 8's I would start at a solid .024 on 7 ...wash, rinse, repeat.
Of course as time goes by on E85 those DW's are also gonna start showing signs/symptoms. I know its been quite a trek for you but would still save for ID's down the road. I had brand new DW's on a previous build and after a year just on pump they started acting up. I got my used second hand ID1ks from a guy in florida and they been in and out of two cars, mailed/shipped, put in a bag for a month and still run great
