Default AP1 -vs AP2 PFAB, ELT, 30R's (torque and hp plots)

I thought I would do this for tech info on this forum. I know often people want to know..."whats the power difference between an AP1 and AP2 engine on boost." Well I think we finally have an answer, You would expect an AP2 to make more torque and power throughout since it has an extra .2L of displacement. I got all the graphs about as close as I possibly could. The rpm point @ 5k and 8k is a little off but not enough to detract from this comparison as I spent a lot of time figuring out his torque specs since all I had was his chart over mph ( i did calculations ) HPx5252 / rpm = torque at a certain rpm.

Siadam was Nice enough to send me his dynojet chart @ 12psi. I also have a dynojet chart @ 12psi. Here is a rundown of our setups for you all.

Adam : 429whp @ 7600rpm - 306 ftlb @ 6000rpm

AP2 2.2L engine
PFAB ELT topmount stage 2 kit
GT3076R .82
AEM EMS
3" exhaust
Stock HG

Me : 431whp @8500rpm - 281 ftlb @ 6500 rpm

AP1 2.0L engine
PAFB ELT topmount stage 2 kit
GT3076R .82
AEM EMS
3" exhaust
Stock HG

So we have the same manifold, same kit...different engines. Lets see if F20> or F22 >.
Horesepower :

Torque :

Look at the AP2 torque advantage over the AP1. You can also see where my vtec is very violent around 5k ( its set at 4900 I think ). His torque holds an advantage over mine until the very top of the powerband. We have very even setups as you can see. 12psi on both and the same turbo, manifold, etc.

Hope you guys like this. Maybe it could be a sticky as I think this is a pretty good comparison to show the differences in AP1 and AP2. have a good one fellas.

I wouldn't write a thesis with this info, but its still great to see the two put together! I'm also surprised the added .2 didn't increase spool rate. for the work!

I did the best I could without exact dyno printouts of specific #'s and rpm points. but its close enough to call a good comparison. it clearly shows the F22 torque advantage.

Also adam's was a 3rd gear pull, mine 4th. That could also be why spoolup was about the same.
