Default AP1Chiefs GLIDE Build

So haven't posted ANYTHING about what I been doing last 6 months. But cats out the bag now, and ill go ahead and post whats been going on lol

SO As some of you know I was running a CD009 for a little while, but I got sick of it, noise, lock out of gears, and notchy.

AND I knew when I built the motor I was going to be shooting pretty high on the HP and knew I would need something stronger.

SOoo after alot of crunching numbers, and comparing different transmissions, the POWER GLIDE was the ANSWER

STRONG, CHEAP, and FAST!

Here she is.

After I spun a main bearing on the 130k stock engine, I contacted Jermey Allen to get the short block done

Fully built motor now, on a Gen2 DBB 7275 Took the Borg off after a few weeks. Was not making the power I thought it would, and I LOVE this 7275.

As you guys know, I offer Remote tunes on flashpro and AEM EMS v1/v2 cars, just hit me up on the cell or message/email

Thank you all for the support, and I hope to keep helping everyone out

I also do free DATA log assessments.

Any build questions ask away, just too much to physically start listing lol

I saw your running what looks like silicone vacuum hoses to the wastegates. Probably from Vibrant performance i used those aswell but mine developed a tear pretty quickly. What you want is their reinforced silicone vacuum hose. Those withstand much better pressure and heat:

These are even cheaper on summitracing or jegs highly recommend.

Wha da phuq? You have an auto... I get the reasoning behind it with that big fat snail but...an auto in a S2K? Isn't there some religious law out there about this or something?

Gotta watch the vid when I get a better connection. This is insane. How does this drive on the street? Does it drive on the street, lol? Good gawd, with that big of a turbo, the lack of low end torque and the gearing on that thing, it must be like,

"Wait for it,

Wait for it,

Wait for it,

Wait...

For....

It....

Wait...

For...

HOLD ON! HOLD ON! HOLD ON!

*shifts*

ALRIGHT! KEEP HOLDIN...

and done"

Man that adapter kit looks about as premium as it gets. I need a trans solution, but I can't get over only having 2 gears

Although I'm not a big fan of an auto in the S because I believe it takes away from its roots, but this is pretty kick ass.

Thanks guys, ya I knew id get hate with the auto... but for real.... the car is SOOO much faster with it.
And to build a 5 or 6 speed would a cost double what this cost, plus it wouldn't be this fast. lol

Plus its cool as shit to see peoples faces lol

Drives on the street like a catty honestly, VERY easy to drive.

And it comes on like any other large turbo car, full boost by 6500ish, and yes it comes on HARD.

Did a 7.6@108 with a 2.1 60ft on street tires and GATE pressure! and was pedaling the car in 1st lol, yet to turn her up on mickeys yet on the 7275, I may do some testing this week and see what shes does in teh 8th turned up a little

Watched your vid a few times the more I watch the more I like. Not sure if I am sold
on the glide tho over a TH400. One would think that 3 forward gears would be more effective with this car.
