Well, just finished the first nite, of course I was lucky enough to get the kit without the nuts, but after a trip to lowes, it all worked out, so far we did was pull the bumper, did the injectors, pulled the intake, bolted on the Manifold & Turbo, as well as being half way done with the oil relocating kit, and I finally changed my Transmission Fluid and differntial Fluid at 68,000miles, however both looked almost as light and clear as the brand new synthetic stuff I put in, so well see. (not sure if color of fluid means a godan thing) Should finish up by tomorow and my exhaust gasket was also in great shape so, I just used that one as well, so far, its pretty smooth, on he BOV, it says to "T" off into another Intale vacuum line or something along those lines, any paeticular one?????????

I don't think you can turn vtec off.... maybe the transition is smoothed out you don't feel it or you feel the kick of the turbo so you don't feel vtec

I'm done with my install!! YAY!! Joey I T'd mine off at the Fuel Pressure Regulator. The smaller diameter hose that is connected to the round regulator. Wow this car is way different now. I'm in love with it all over again. I only took it to about 5,500 RPM but it moves out when boost comes on. An IS 350 pulled next to me on my test drive and I easily pulled away. Mid range is great. Right now I'm on the stock exhaust so I can't wait how it feels when I get the 3 " on it and then tune it in 3 weeks with 10 PSI. I keep taking detours and didn't want to stop driving. I'm STOKED! Tomorrow I"m going to attempt to install my boost controller and gauges.

Let me know how it goes, I'm very interested in this kit. SC's are simply out of my price range.

Well I had to weigh out the realities too. I mean I plan on staying stock compression. So to really utilize the power of the IP kit, you gotta drop compression. So why spend the extra 2k or so for just a small increase in power at safe CR values. So far I have only 4850 in parts for my kit and that's EVERYTHING included, including boost controller and wideband and gauge pod. These vendors are selling these things like hot cakes!!

PS Before Spec Ops chimes in and says we are bashing the IP kit, I AM NOT BASHING INLINE PRO!!! I just don't have the coin to go that route. They have a great product.

If you never plan on going past 350rwhp, greddy is definatly the way to go.

What's the bottleneck in the Greddy kit as far as making more power goes? Is it the turbo itself?
