bad turbo?
We do not supply any kits withOUT restrictors any longer. Unfortunately, I think the oil line isnt going to help much.
FYI, the restrictor is the fitting bolted to the turbo oil feed side, has nothing to do with the line.

Too much oil pressure isn't going to cause a rattle, but cause smokey situation, not always instantly as well. Make sure there is a proper oil restrictor if the turbo requires one. If its a GT ball bearing, it should have one.
I wouldn't spin the wheel without oil pressure as the seals are meant to have oil pressure in there before the wheel spins.
Everyone has already mentioned this, so just becareful before you damage the turbo further. You should be able to see physical signs for damage. Garrett should warranty it is something were to happen like this as long as they don't see signs of improper installation.
