the aem software comes with a base map for a sc'd ap1. I just used that and ran the wizards for my sensors then did a street tune before driving to the tuner. (drove it very easy)

i have been curious about the same thing. i have a ptuning kit that i will be installing at my house in New Port Richie and i will be driving the car about 100 miles to Real Street Performance to have it tuned. How safe would it be for me to drive it that far? cruising speed of about 75mph around 4500 rpms. would the SC ap1 set up be ok or will i still be dumping too much fuel into my engine?

I'm not an expert on the matter by any means and I had a friend help (who tunes cars for a living). We got it to idle smooth then start out very slow and got my afr's around 14.5 while cruising. I was worried about doing damage so I drove like an old asian lady and made it to the dyno with no issues. But again, I had a tuner in the pass seat with me until it was driving smoothly on the interstate. I didn't get to see how much he actually changed from the base map and we still ended up making a lot of changes once it actually got on the dyno.

Good luck trying to find anyone who wants to share a map on here.

As mentioned there is a AP1 s/c basemap that will get it running but to be safe stick it on a flatbed truck.

I have a map for a Greddy kit I used to have. Easiest way to do it is just leave the charge pipe off the throttle body and run the base map from AEM.
