very interested to see how this thing holds up. i wonder if you really have to remove the vtec oil pressure sensor as advertised!!! we need to see this thing mocked up!!!!

on a side note, if someone used a single scroll turbo could they use a block off plate for one of the wastegates??? a long time ago i had a twin scroll setup on my b18 and couldnt get both wastegates to function properly so we just hooked up one and it worked fine. this was at 12 psi. what do you guys think? no need for two wastegates if its not a twinscroll

if anyone wants mocked up pics send me an email at W2juo@aol.com i dont have an image hosting account so i cant post them up. i will say though it looks pretty decent for the price and even came with 2 extra v band flanges for a test pipe. oil pressure dose have to me removed to fit.

Port that sharp edges or extra solder. You dont want those pieces going into the turbine wheel. Looks solid.

FedEx shows mine will be here wednesday(2/8/12). Looks solid enough for the price but by the photos I have seen so far I'm not to impressed with the welding. So what I'm planning on doing is x-raying and doing a FPI test to see if the welds are mint. And def will be hand burring the inside wg/collector area to make sure there is no residue that will come off. Guess it comes in handy working in the aerospace industry where you see million dollar parts getting welded on all day

Ok, since I can't seem to get a clear answer I'm going to ask here...

Twin Scroll T3 PLM Manifold.. 3" V.Band DP... 550-700 whp goal...

What's the top few turbo choices combining price, spool, reliability, while reaching this hp range?

China-junk Turbo parts from ebay WILL FAIL. The cost of buying the overseas knockoff parts and fabricating a turbokit around it is not cheap... then when the manifold breaks and the kit goes to crap youre stuck with a worthless expensive pile of scrap metal.

buy this junk at your own risk.

Well i put mine on looks good BUT it rattles. I put 2 braces on the downpipes all before the flex pipe and all bolt to the motor. You can see the turbo moving up and down when you pull on the throttle. Now im in the process of trying to make a mount for the turbo. Anyone else has had this problem and if you did what did you do to fix it. Ill post pics soon
