belt tension adjustment on vortech

Default belt tension adjustment on vortech

how do you adjust the tension screw on the vortech sc so i can get the belt on?

Loosen the locknut on the tensioner, and turn the jackscrew to back the tensioner off. Put the belt on over the pulley and tighten jackscrew, then the locknut.

The SC has to be removed from the mounting brackets to replace the belt, as it goes around the lower mount.

SO DO I NEED TO PUT A WRENCH ON THE PULLY NUT OR JUST ON THE NUTS ON THE END OF THE TENSION SCREW

Undoing the nylok allows you to tension using a socket on the tensioner.
