Hell you can close it shut and boost 100psi

Just put the spring for lowest boost you want to run and ramp from here with the solenoid

To do it reliably you need to set the duty cycle for all boost Level you want to run
This is not correct at all. If the spring is too small then the exhaust pressure will eventually open the gate no matter how much duty you give it. There will be a limit. The 4 port extends this by allowing you to add pressure to the top of the gate while removing pressure from the bottom rather than only adding to the top.

In most applications though the 3-port is perfectly fine.

The 4 ports on ebay are the wrong valve, they are the 46 series and aren't always very stable. Tried them years ago. I refuse to share the part # for the 4 port we use, as well as a couple other places that have figured them out.

My for 4 port 46A-AA1-JDBA -1BA just crapped out on me. Was going to reorder one off the Circutie se7en ebay page. Ordered your 4 port off your webpage instead (noticed the label is taken off). The 46A is too sensitive and took a while to get it dialed in. The range of duty cycle is so small, it is almost impossible to set it boost by gears. Let see how yours work.

Blue line 3 port.
Red line 4 port.

That's very similar results to what I had on my 08 Si with the 6465, but even lazier on the 3 port since the EMS (FlashPro) didn't have closed loop BCS.

I run an AEM Infinity on our S2000 with the same solenoid you just bought, I want to say I have a 5psi spring in the gate since that's what it makes on WG pulls (just a tad over, 5.5-6.0), but I can't for the life of me remember, maybe I put a 3psi in there, if I did, it's not really doing much since the setup wants to make 5psi pretty much right away (lol).

Here's what I'm doing with the BCS system:

I'm using a PI loop, haven't needed to use the derivative term at all. Something you'll note, I apply a sort of quick spool setup via the boostcontrolerror, and since the turbo can come on extremely fast at times, I assist the PI loop a little bit to avoid any large over shoot (at most see 1, maybe 2 psi, not a big deal). You can see at higher boost targets, in the 4500 area I don't even have to bump the base duty cycle up since it's effectively in 'quick spool' mode and the lower duty cycle helps it ramp out of quick spool easier. The closed loop system on the Infinity is so fast I honestly could of avoided the whole 'quick spool' tables I built, but it was something I wanted to tinker with and I like the results.

You can also see at what boost level my turbo is done, and I have to ramp the base duty cycle up in the higher rpm, and the closed loop system takes care of the rest (although it's never really able to hit a 280kpa target after 7500 rpm, it is only a 58mm turbo, maybe if I ran 70% duty cycle I could of gotten it, haha).

27-28 down to 24psi plot:

In any case, LMK how it works for you, I think you're on the AEM V2?

Do you have a link for the valve I need?
