It all depends on your power goal.

i am sure i am bringing up a topic that has been discussed a thousand times sry. i guess im just lazy and dont feel like reading everything as for what im looking for is probably the most power out of the kit. yes i know turbo would overall get more power but i would rather stay s/c.

Just read through the threads. Sideways is a good source for VT. Camuman is good for SOT along with Mark (MugenRioS2K). There are countless threads on KW and SOS even on page 1 of the FI forum.

I'm going with the SOT since I live in Madison and Mark and I race together once I get my car paid off. Of course I don't want over 400 hp.

<400 hp SOT
>400 hp VT (but really should buy the Mase turbo kit)

Everyone on here will have a different opinion. I auto-x so I really don't want the heat issue of a turbo (I do some track days at Little Talladega sometimes).

i mean i have done quite a bit of looking into the subject but most of the kits seem so good i guess what im after is just peoples personal opinion of the different kits.

SOT/SXM hits the boost so early, maybe 4~5 psi of boost at around 2.5k rpm -3k rpm... so lots of mid range power...

vortech or sos it's a belt driven sc kit, so the powers comes on when u r in vtec...

i have a vortech kit made 380whps at 8psi.
but at 4krpm i only see 2 psi of boost and my vtec is set on around 4.5 k rpm, once i hit vtec it's start to spool fast all the way to redline..

so it's all depends how u drive and how u like it to be...

for me, i choose vortech it's because that way i can keep the honda oem drive abilities.. low rpm for cruising, rev high when into a race or want to go fast...
