Go checked out the forced induction forum, you'll find the info you need there. Search around rather than asking these basic questions though, this info has been covered hundreds of times. There is a lot to be learned by researching (both on S2kI and on Google).

The most reliable reputation is probably the LoveFab turbo setup. Prepare to spend 6 thousand dollars for the kit, and another 1-2 thousand for tuning.

I'm running the LoveFab Ver.1 for 10000km so far and it's just insane. LoveFab is the only real turbo kit, all others are incomplete or take shortcuts in engine managment and components

The first part of this statement is true and as for the rest try $7000 for basic kit plus $150 for test pipe and then your choice of gauges. 1-2 thousand for tunning? I don't know about that I would say more like $500 tops for a basic conservative tune.

you might as well include all the other options the guy can get since you are mentioning something which isnt even mandatory.

Really, not mandatory? You would spend 7 grand on a turbo kit and then not buy a testpipe for 150 dollars so you won't choke your exhaust flow? Doesn't seem like a big expense when you look at the big picture in how much money you will end up dumping into your motor when you decide to go turbo (i'm currently in this stage of spending ). For the original poster, i'm not sure if you are asking for the best turbo or turbo kit out there. I personally chose to go with LoveFab, I think they offer the best complete kit along with great customer service from Cody. The only other options you should really consider are FullRace, and Inlinepro. As far as just a turbo, if that is what you were asking, variants of the garrett GT30R and GT35R are the two most popular choices on here.

Cherry04, I am not familiar with your tuning background or knowledge of turbos, but the best advice I can offer is to study up and do your homework. Diving into a turbo kit without a thorough understanding of what you are getting yourself into can be a big mistake. If there are emissions testing where you are located keep in mind a turbo S will not pass. Once you add a turbo to this engine you need to closely monitor the engine. There are endless things that can go wrong. If you were already aware of all this then disregard this post.

I dont think you have had a test pipe on your car b4 but #1 it smells like absolute shit outside your car #2 you will pollute the environment more and #3 he would have to change his whole exhaust system by your logic to improve exhast flow - the expenses just keep piling up , huh?
