Biohazarde's Build
Been awhile since the last update, and have done quite a bit since then.
Went to the strip for the first time in my life. It was fun, but short lived, after the first run, they wouldn’t let me run again without a roll bar (no my car isn’t that fast, but I guess convertibles under 13.5 seconds require a bar), and they wouldn’t accept the factory one (lame).

So got home and went to work, bought the swracecars 8 pt cage, a kirkey seat, and a 5 point harness:

With the door boor it’s nearly impossible to get in with the stock steering wheel, so picked up a use momo comp wheel with quick release hub from a member here:

Battery had been relocated when I initially put the turbo kit on, but none of was it up to snuff for the strip, and since my track is apparently Nazis, put in a box and cut off:

During that time I also got my custom 8.8 axles back, so installed the differential. Unfortunately the driver side axle was too long, so had to get it remade – still waiting on the new one.

Found a good deal on a LT1 t56. Big thanks to Bobby for picking it up and shipping it to me (the guy I bought it from wasn’t interested in shipping). This is the conversion kit to change it to a LS1:

Once I got the transmission, tore it apart, to get send 1-4 gears to get face plated by liberty

The 5-6 driven cluster splines on the mainshaft were wore down pretty bad, so also going to be doing a viper main shaft upgrade. The transmission should handle ~700ft/lb pretty easy I think.
At this point, just waiting on parts and pieces to come back. Cant wait to get it back together and be able rip through gears!
