Default black dry suity spark plugs whats the issue?

hey i just pulled the plugs and they are black dry suity but according to my afr gauge it didnt seem to be too rich but it might have been, at full boost im at about 11.2 and hgwy 13.8-14.2 at 70 here are a couple pictures they all look the same.

I also have a 5857 journal bearing turbo with rc750cc injectors 255lph pump

May be burning a little oil, but I'm not exactly sure.

I'm interested in what people have to say as well. I'm running rich, and I've been trying to figure out if it is TOO rich or still safe myself. I just pulled my plugs to check them, and they're not as black as yours, but they're dark on the ends (I just put new ones in about 300mi ago). Here's my thread on my issue: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/902...atio-question/

I'm running almost exactly the same as your AFRs in full boost, and I'm not sure what I'm running at idle and highway cruising, but I just ordered a wideband.

Have you smelled your oil at the dipstick? Does it smell like gas? Are you getting any misfires? How does your car idle?

Any oily film in the intake lines forward of the turbo?

And you mean "sooty".

I don’t see any oil burning signs on these plugs, just excessive fueling. 11.2afr is pretty rich. If you can safely remove some fuel you would be better off. I don’t know who your tuner is or why he felt good with this, maybe he felt more comfortable keeping your combustion a bit cooler and leaving some efficiency on the table, I don’t know since I wasn’t there. But I'd aim for 11.8 - low 12's generally.
