Do the standard CT and VT AC SC's come with blow off valves or a flange for a blow off valve?

 

Vortech does and I believe the aftercooled Comptech does as well.

 

Vortech comes with a blow off valve. Aftercooled comptech comes with a bypass or recirculator valve.

 

Vortech does. Comptech has a bypass valve that feeds back into the intake.

The Comptechs plumbing is 1" hose but if you have the aftercooler you can unscrew the 1" spigot and it leaves a mounting point for a Turbonetics BOV. Or you can just plumb in a BOV with a 1" hose line like the TurboSmart Kompact. It even comes with a plug for the intake tract.

How is the sound with a BOV?

 

The vortech BOV that comes with the kit sounds really good. Not extremely loud but definetly something you and others can hear.

 

I put a Raptor BOV on my Vortech.

Too much fun...

 

So, if you want somethign a little louder, then go for the Godzilla or Raptor?

I had a lightly tuned STi before the S. It was running at 16psi with an HKS BOV. Would the sound be thesame do you think? Or not as loud?

 

I am putting a Greddy Type S BOV on my CTSC Aftercooler..
