I was really surprised how nice the Raptor BOV sounded on my Vortech. I honestly never thought I'd hear that unless I went Turbo. What a pleasant surprise.

 

I think the vortech blow off valve has a nice sound w/o the filter on it. Is the raptor much louder?

 

the Turbonetics Godzilla BOV bolts right up to the CTSC AC and works very well. Pricey though...

 

I did put my Greddy Type S on my Vortech, but I couldn't produce a single sound on my stock vortech. So I took it back off, was too afraid it didn't let the air out and would eventually kill my compressor.

Those anybody know if that's because of running with standard boost and the Greddy needs more than the 7-8 PSI of the stock vortech?

BTW, I move the screw in both directions to no avail, so less and more pressure didn't both work.


I was expecting so much out of the Greddy Type S, would love to get it to work though!
