Default BLOW OFF VALVES

I currently am running a godzilla blow off valve with my comptech supercharger, it came with a bypass one.

My question is when you blow out all that boost when letting off the throttle, will that confuse the aem and make it run lean or rich cause it takes a second to realize whats going on? Rather then having a bypass valve where it blows some of the air back in to the engine?

Just trying to figure out why I keep blowing engines?
I had it tuned by Evans Tuning and they are pretty well known.

Thanks,

we have a map sensor not a maf sensor so having an atmospheric bov is ok for our system.

Er...only 10psi and he's blowing engines?!?

I think we got a bigger problem here than a BOV. Anyway, what Spec_Ops said about the sensor is 100% correct.

Blowing off the air should cause a rich condition. You won't blow an engine that way.

if u're running very lean then you need to either adjust the FMU, or if it's not adjustable, either put in washers above the spring or get a VAFC to tune the car with. Running lean has nothing to do with the BOV.

Ok I did put a slightly, i mean very slightly larger washer in there, since it is the factory Vortech one it's not adjustable.... Thanks man....

PS - Guess i really need to get that A/F ratio gauge to tell for sure! Thanks
