Are you using the Honda coolant? It looks green.

Alright, got the new headgasket in and got it all put together. Still having problems. Not with cooling but with something else. Car is supposed to be hitting 22psi but im only hitting 13.... and it runs rich while in boost... 10.0 afr. I'm gonna check my lines to the gate to see of any are loose.... maybe an air leak? Driving normal the car is perfect, just when its under load it runs rich and does not make boost. Could my timing be off? All the marks on the cams, cam chain gear and crank lined up perfectly.... any input is appreciated.

Edit: forgot to mention that when i did my first pull, it hit the 22psi and felt great. Did another pull and the afrs stayed at 10.0 for a second, then freed up to 11.8 and the car pulled hard. Every pull since then has been stuck at 10.0 and 13psi...

What ecu are you running? Have you confirmed your timing by using a timing light? Are you using silicone radiator hoses by any chance? Did your old HG show signs of leakage afterall?

I'm on AEM EMS V2. I did not use a timing light. I took the car apart in tdc, so the crank was already lined up, put the cams and cam chain gear in and lined them up. I put new OEM honda upper and lower radiator hoses. I'll put a pic of the old head gasket.

Just pulled the cover to check the timing. It looks good?? Look at the slits on the cams not the yellow dots.

Bit that's not the same as syncing. Open wizard, lock at 0 - 5 - 10* , run timing light, confirm where it's at. Set/sync in wizard if timing light shows different than aem
